Clairvoyant Abilities Help Others

In troubling times, many people search outside themselves for answers to problems they've been unable to resolve alone. They are often too emotionally involved or too upset by a situation to see it clearly or to determine a solution. When such circumstances arise, a clairvoyant can offer help.

The word clairvoyant means "clear vision." It refers to people with the ability to see images or sense information about situations they have no apparent means of understanding. The same term is often used to cover a variety of skills, though they all involve some form of psychic ability.

Sometimes, a clairvoyant sees still or moving images relating to a matter, although others may hear messages. Auditory abilities don't generally involve external voices. Instead, they engage the inner voice we all possess, though perhaps in a slightly different way. Some individuals may receive a feeling or premonition about a situation, and others are able to communicate with loved ones who have passed over.

These special talents manifest differently in each person. Some practitioners will only access their inner vision or voice, while others may use tools to help channel their abilities, such as Tarot cards, numerology or even dowsing, which involves much more than finding water. Another way to obtain information is by holding an object belonging to the one who is seeking help. Everyone has personal energy, and it transfers to objects we touch or hold regularly. A clairvoyant can frequently pick up on this energy and sense details about the person and what has happened, or may happen, in his or her life.

Although science tends to remain skeptical about psychic abilities, those who possess them have a friend in Albert Einstein. He famously wrote about dowsing in a letter to a man whose father diagnosed medical problems this way, saying that it involved "the reaction of the human nervous system to certain factors which are unknown to us at this time."
